The Harveys in Scotland : 1980

I recently acquired an enormous collection of slide photographs that my maternal grandparents (Bill & Charlotte Harvey) took over the course of 20 years (early 1960s-early 1980s). These photos are from a trip they took to Scotland in 1980. My grandmother is no longer with us, and it was such a treat to get to see her smiling face again. I am excited to continue scanning their slides and look forward to sharing more with you. Enjoy!

Late sleep.

These are two photographs I made as part of my weekly edit in my Color class.

I have chosen to minor in Fine Art Color at NESoP and I will be finishing up a major body of work within the next few weeks. It is unreal to me that my time at school is almost over! I have learned so much about myself and it has been interesting to watch my work change. Weird, wild stuff...

sun day.

I spent my Sunday at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA with some of my classmates from my Fine Art Color class at NESoP. These ladies are some of my favorite people and it was nice to look at art and (of course) laugh with them all day long. We ended our visit to the area with a stop at the Fernald School in Waltham to take a look at some buildings and do a little exploring. It was a great day!

a foray.

I've had an aversion to using flash for as long as I can remember. I really love natural light and slower shutter speeds. However, I've decided to give it a shot (ha!) and I took this last night at home.
