Bit by Bit

 

I got an iPod touch in September. It's been handy for moments when I didn't want to use film and didn't have my dSLR. I made these pictures using the Hipstamatic app and my own brain.

I have begun photographing myself a lot more, and I think it is because I am trying to learn myself as a woman, not a girl. The process is complex, and some things I like more than others. 

I'm getting closer. This helps.

This is my newest edit from my project with Tina and Anthony (aka Big T aka L.A). It was L.A's last shoot as a 2-year old... it's been amazing to see him grow up through my lens!

This is the start of an ongoing documentary project focused on Tina, her son Anthony, and their life together. Tina is a great person, parent, and role model and I am thrilled that she has allowed me to document her life. This project will be continuing through the rest of my time at NESoP, and hopefully further into the future.
