the return of metal.

My husband is a founding member of the Boston-based metal band The Humanoids. After a three year hiatus, they have re-formed and played their first "reunion" show at Charlie's Kitchen in Harvard Square on Monday the 21st. I had taken photos for them before, but I had never shot them using my 7D and all the skills I've acquired at NESoP. I hope you enjoy the results!

I spent my Sunday at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA with some of my classmates from my Fine Art Color class at NESoP. These ladies are some of my favorite people and it was nice to look at art and (of course) laugh with them all day long. We ended our visit to the area with a stop at the Fernald School in Waltham to take a look at some buildings and do a little exploring. It was a great day!

Sarah + Nate

Sarah is one of my closest friends and I was incredibly honored when she and Nate (her fabulous fiance) asked me to take their engagement photos in our hometown this past weekend. They are getting married in December and we thought that all of the snow we've had this winter would be a perfect backdrop for the shoot, with a nice warm-up by the fire a little later on. I think it's pretty clear from the shots I got that these two are madly in love - they are simply perfect together and I am so glad that I was able to capture that. Congratulation to you both, I adore you!
